Lifeworldsound is the musical articulation of projectlifeworld. It presents Elemental Spirits and Living Memory, the musical collaborations of Pierre Ouellet and Jim MacDonald, and has since come to include the recordings of more traditional singer/ songwriters like JohnJCoté and Wolfgang Dios.

As always intended, the lifeworldsound creative media space soon opened up to a number of other composers and their work, such as the electronic musicians db electronica and Lightform and the Codec 13 and Semiotek projects of Jim MacDonald and Pierre Ouellet.

Semiotek is a recording and performance collective whose efforts focus on the creation of electronic digital music, imagery and spectacle which are the reflections on and expressions of an intimate aural relationship with everyday existence articulated to the mass mediating presence of current technologies. Codec 13 is an electronic music project by Jim MacDonald and Pierre Ouellet inspired by the presence and effect of all manner of technology in everyday life. It is both meditation and action, thought and emotion at the intersection of the wired world we have created. MORE
INTERSPECIES MUSIC is a multi-media performance group involved in the study and human interpretation of all manner of man-made and natural sounds, including those produced by other species. Whalescapes focuses on the sounds produced by Beluga, Orca, Humpback whales and a variety of other sea creatures. MORE
